STONOGA 3000 pallet bottom nailer

The STONOGA 3000 device significantly speeds up the production process of large, non-standard pallets. It is intended for producers of pallets assembled manually and using robotic stations.

The nailing process is fully automated and can be integrated with an industrial robot that collects the bottoms and transports them to a station for assembling the pallet tops.

STONOGA 3000 pallet bottom nailer

Description of the design and functionality of the device

Dimensions of nailed products:
– board length: 600 – 3000 mm
– width of boards and blocks: 70 – 140 mm
– height of blocks 75 – 100 mm

The device consists of:
– brick warehouse, where the blocks are stored and transported to the knocking module
– nailing module, which houses a board magazine, a system of nailers for nailing blocks, and a controller with a touch panel for programming, control and selection of the work program. Three BeA 800DC nailers with JUMBO magazines for nail rolls (3.1×70) of 600 pieces each were used.
– receiving module, where finished products are handed over for collection.
– The compactor is designed to be operated by one employee
– Changing the nailed detail only requires replacing the boards in the magazine and selecting a new work program.

Machine operation

The operator places blocks and boards in magazines by hand.
Both magazines can be refilled while the device is in operation.
On the touch screen of the control panel, the employee selects the appropriate nailing program.
The entire work cycle is automatic.
The broken element is thrown onto the receiving table.
Finished products can be collected manually, with a forklift, or moved by an industrial robot to a station for assembling pallet tops.
