The BizeA / Bizon team is a group of professionals who perform their duties with passion and commitment. Due to the continuous development of the company and the launch of a new automatic storage warehouse (SILO), we are looking for a logistics specialist to join our team. We want this person to have both substantive knowledge in the field of warehousing and forwarding, as well as to be involved in good cooperation with the company's suppliers and recipients, as well as with carriers and forwarders. It is important to us to provide everyone with a high level of services provided.
Scope of duties:
- Creating and implementing strategies in the area of logistics and warehouse management. Supervision over compliance with logistics and warehouse standards:
- Organizing the internal flow of goods and services. Making decisions regarding the movement of goods, components, semi-finished products;
- Supervision over the proper functioning of warehouse management, designated stock levels, the issue and receipt system, and accounting documentation;
- Optimization of warehouse space;
- Monitoring and analyzing indicators, parameters and risk assessment in the supply chain. Developing and optimizing distribution and supply chain processes;
- Reporting on the costs of logistics and warehousing operations;
- Control of the effectiveness of transport and storage policy;
- Planning, organizing and conducting inventories, including as a continuous process.
- Handling of logistics processes, organizing domestic and foreign transport:
- Negotiating offers with forwarding and transport companies;
- Support for the transport exchange and transport support programs;
- Creation of transport orders for domestic and international freight;
- Preparation of documents relating to complaints about deliveries and submission of claims to carriers;
- Supervision of delivery notifications. Development of weekly delivery schedules.
- • Close cooperation with production department managers.
- • Effective management of a team of subordinate employees.
Our requirements
- Higher education in logistics, supply chain management or related (preferably in a production company).
- Professional experience in the logistics department of at least 2 years and practical knowledge of logistics practices, logistics and inventory management tools and methods, and quality control standards.
- Knowledge of Qguar WMS software is welcome
- Efficient computer operation (especially MS Office).
- Good knowledge of English, allowing fluent communication.
- Analytical skills, cost awareness.
- Good organization of working time and the ability to set priorities.
- Ability to organize team work, create work schedules and effectively delegate tasks.
- Meticulousness / conscientiousness.
