Wood defect repair system.
KNOT-TEC ® hot melt putties, specially colored, are designed to repair knot holes and other wood damage.
The fillers are made from hot melt adhesives – synthetic polymers. The open time is 15-30 seconds (classified as short-medium) and depends on the amount of filler applied.
KNOT-TEC has high adhesion to various types of surfaces and after application creates a rigid connection, it is recommended for repairing floors, concrete formwork and wherever a hard, resistant joint is required.
Using a putty knife (hot melt glue) significantly speeds up the work, and using a glue gun as an applicator minimizes adhesive loss. The joint's cooling time is usually no longer than 2 minutes.
